Hedsor House, the award-winning stately home wedding venue based in Buckinghamshire, have generously donated an incredible £19,000 to the Heart of Bucks Community Investor Fund. This not only marks the biggest single contribution from Hedsor House, but also represents the largest donation Heart of Bucks has ever received to this fund.

In addition to its events, Hedsor House also promotes charitable endeavours. These include annual charity open days, carol concerts for the NSPCC, sponsoring a Hearing Dog, donations to the NHS during COVID-19 and regular commitment to Heart of Bucks. This donation highlights Hedsor’s ongoing commitment to enriching the community beyond private events. The donation will be gifted as grants to local groups working in the areas of Education & Skills, Health & Wellbeing and The Environment. A particular focus goes to small, grassroots organisations in need. As one of the largest funders in the county, Heart of Bucks have awarded over £5 million to local causes in the last three years.

In a celebratory moment, Managing Director Mark Shephard presented the donation to Heart of Bucks CEO Henry Allmand during a meeting at the historic venue. He said:

“We’re honoured to support Heart of Bucks, a grassroots charity that consistently demonstrates how it changes lives in our community. We’re so proud that this donation will help to make Buckinghamshire a better place for everyone.”

Henry Allmand, CEO of Heart of Bucks said: “We are thrilled to have received our largest ever donation to the Community Investor Fund from Hedsor House. Alexander and Janey Shephard and the whole team at Hedsor have been huge supporters of our work for many years, and it was a pleasure to join them at Hedsor to receive the news that they had raised £19,000! We will use this very generous donation immediately to support small, grassroots charities and community groups in carrying out their work. A huge thank you to Hedsor House!”

Looking ahead, Hedsor House’s partnership with Heart of Bucks continues to grow. The venue is set to host the charity’s 25th Anniversary Celebration in 2025, solidifying its role as a cornerstone of community support to the charity.
