In light of the ongoing poverty being experienced in our county, Heart of Bucks runs the Together Against Poverty appeal which provides essential one-off grants to help individuals and families experiencing severe hardship and distress, including food, shelter or fuel poverty.
We have now published the first report, showcasing the impact of this appeal during 2024.
Key figures:
- £233,245 total amount awarded
- 58% of grants went towards housing costs, such as rent and repairs
- 565 total beneficiaries helped across the county
