Heart of Bucks Community Foundation, in partnership with the Rothschild Foundation, is proud to announce the launch of the Rothschild Foundation Grassroots Grants Fund – a new initiative designed to support small, local organisations tackling disadvantage and inequality across Buckinghamshire.

The fund will provide grants of up to £5,000 to help grassroots groups deliver vital services and projects that respond directly to community needs. Priority will be given to groups working in the areas of homelessness, financial hardship, physical or learning disabilities, and mental health and wellbeing. Smaller and emerging organisations are welcome to apply.

Ellie Stout, Director of Grants at the Rothschild Foundation said:
We are delighted to partner with Heart of Bucks to deliver this new grassroots grants fund. Local organisations are often best placed to understand and respond to the challenges faced by their communities. This fund is about empowering those groups to deliver meaningful, lasting change where it is needed most.

Working collaboratively is one of the core values of the Rothschild Foundation, and this partnership with Heart of Bucks demonstrates the strength of our teamwork to address the needs of the local community.

Henry Allmand, CEO at Heart of Bucks added
:
We see every day the incredible difference that small, community-led organisations make across Buckinghamshire. However, many of these groups struggle to access funding at a scale that matches their ambition and impact. This fund is designed to be accessible, flexible, and responsive, ensuring that even the smallest organisations have the opportunity to thrive and support those most in need.

By working in partnership with the Rothschild Foundation, we are able to reach deeper into our communities and back the grassroots initiatives that are often the lifeline for vulnerable residents.
