The Nigerian Community Association Aylesbury celebrated their annual end of year event on Saturday 15th of December at the Buckingham Park Community Centre.
It was a colourful afternoon to remember with art stands, an ethnic dress stand, music, food and vibrantly dressed friendly members from the Nigerian community.
They celebrated the success of their community projects taking place in 2018 including basketball sessions funded by Heart of Bucks and showcased the impact the projects are creating for the local community.
Cllr Mark Willis, Mayor of Aylesbury Town Council was also present. In his speech, Mr Mayor rightly pointed out the importance of celebrating diverse communities and understanding each other to create a cohesive community.
