The team at Heart of Bucks got into the festive fundraising spirit during December:

Team HoB dressed up as santas for the Marlow fun run

Marlow Santa Fun Run

Six happy Santas joined thousands of others and raced around the 5k course on a chilly Sunday morning! We are proud to sponsor and take part in this event, which raises money for charities across the county. Thank you to everyone who supported us and helped raise £695.

Rotary Club of Aylesbury’s Santa floatSanta riding on the float in Aylesbury

Thank you to the Rotary Club of Aylesbury for inviting us to join them again on their Santa float – we had a lovely evening getting into the Christmas spirit and spreading some festive magic! Together we raised £600 which is being matched by us at 80%. This means a total of £1,080 will be going toward our Isolation, Disadvantage and Poverty Fund.

We’ve also had support from local organisations fundraising on our behalf:

We are delighted to be the nominated charity for both the men’s and ladies’ captains at Harewood Downs Golf Club. Through their fundraising in 2023, the club will be supporting health and wellbeing projects and helping to tackle isolation, disadvantage and poverty. If your golf club is interested in working with Heart of Bucks in 2024 to support specific projects in Buckinghamshire please email giving@heartofbucks.org.
