On Monday 8th October, Heart of Bucks supporters from across the county joined us for our annual reception. Taking place at the beautiful Dairy at Waddesdon Manor, the event is an opportunity for us to celebrate our successes of the past year and share our plans and aspirations for the future.

At the event, a selection of charities and community groups that we have supported are invited to showcase the great work they do in the county. The guests then vote for their favourite, with the winning group awarded a grant of £1,500 and the runners up £500 each.

This year we were joined by 1st Stewkley Scout Group, Bucks Uniformed Youth, Nigerian Community Association Aylesbury and Ubiquitous Theatre. Each group had put so much time and effort into their displays and the passion about what they do was evident.

Peter Costello, CEO said “There was so much excitement and enthusiasm in the room and I could not be more proud of what we have all achieved. Thank you to all who attended to show their support, to The Rothschild Foundation for looking after us so well, and to my cracking team!”

Congratulations to this year’s supporters’ chosen charity – Bucks Uniformed Youth.
