25-years of local giving
Throughout 2025 Heart of Bucks, the Community Foundation for Buckinghamshire celebrated 25 years of supporting small, grassroot charities and community groups to create positive change across the county.
In the last quarter century, the charity has awarded more than £20 million to over 1,500 charitable organisations across Buckinghamshire. Anniversary celebrations were focused on the impact made by these projects and the Buckinghamshire charity sector as a whole as this is where the real benefits are seen.
Online mosaic
This mosaic grew slowly throughout 2025 with images submitted by some of the 1,500 local charities, community groups and organisations that we have supported over the last 25-years. We also asked groups to share the number of volunteers they have and the number of beneficiaries they support to showcase just how big the impact truly is of the Buckinghamshire Charity Sector.
