New consultant appointed to support Buckinghamshire food systems partnership

Heart of Bucks is delighted to have appointed Jen Morgan to support the development of a collaborative, community-led Buckinghamshire application to The National Lottery Community Fund’s Climate Action Fund – Food Systems programme.

Jen will work with local organisations, communities and other stakeholders to build the partnership, shape a shared vision and develop the funding application. The work will explore existing opportunities to make Buckinghamshire’s food system healthier, fairer and more sustainable, while supporting long-term action and new ideas for working together effectively and sustainably.

The first phase will focus on listening to partners and communities, understanding existing activity and identifying where greater collaboration could make a difference. Workshops and other opportunities to contribute will help develop the partnership’s priorities, approach and governance.

This is an early stage in the process, and the programme will be shaped collectively rather than predetermined. We look forward to working with Jen and identified partners across Buckinghamshire on this important project.
