This campaign is all about inspiring people to give local – whether that’s time, money, or support – to the smaller grassroots charities and community causes that make a real difference close to home.
It’s a great opportunity to showcase your fundraising, volunteering, or involvement in the local community too.
How to get involved:
Step 1: Change your profile picture
Let your followers know it’s Give Local Day and change your profile picture for the day.
Simply click on the Give Local logo (left) and the image will automatically download. You can then use this to change your profile picture across your social media channels.
Step 2: Post as many of the key messages below as you like throughout the day
Simply click on the social media graphic and it will automatically download. Then copy and paste the text into your social media channels alongside the corresponding image. Remember to tag Heart of Bucks in your posts so we can like and engage with them.
