Heart of Bucks is dedicated to understanding local needs and developing our knowledge through research and listening to local people. This enables us to target funding effectively, distributing grants to the organisations and causes that need it most.
WOMEN & GIRLS IN BUCKINGHAMSHIRE
The aim of this project is to understand the barriers, needs and required support for girls and women in different stages of their lives in Buckinghamshire. The extensive research identifies the areas that are vital to the health and wellbeing of women and girls and finds the gaps occurring due to gender differences, which in turn have an effect on our society itself.
COMING DECEMBER 2018!
In 2016 we launched a Vital Signs report; a national initiative for the community foundation network which identifies key issues affecting local communities.
In 2019 we will be producing a new report called Bucks Uncovered, this will reflect the six impact categories featured in our Annual Report, highlighting the current challenges that face Buckinghamshire.
With this information we will look to form strategic partnerships in order to begin addressing the priorities identified.
