Heart of Bucks is the community foundation for Buckinghamshire; a funding organisation awarding grants and loans to local charities and community groups. We are dedicated to improving the lives of people in the local area, bringing together the financial resources of individuals, families, and businesses to support effective non-profits in our community.

We are now looking for two people who are passionate about making a difference in their local community to join our small friendly team.

Finance & Accounting Manager:

As our Finance and Accounting Manager (2 days p/w) you’ll help us to keep an eye on the generous donations we receive from our supporters, ensuring that they are accounted for, invested responsibly and generate as much revenue as reasonable within our risk profile for our grants programme. You will also be responsible for the day to day management of financial processes and for reporting to our CEO and Trustees.

Grants & Loans Officer:

As a Grants & Loans Officer (full time) working with our funding and outreach team you’ll be responsible for our grants programmes; supporting grant and loan applicants with information and advice. You’ll also carry out due diligence checks on applications, assess the impact achieved from grants awarded, and will support the independent grants and loans panels to make sound, informed decisions.
