Support your community

Do you want to make a difference to a particular area in Buckinghamshire? Or perhaps you really want to support projects aimed at people with physical disabilities?

As a community foundation, we secure donations from individuals, trusts and organisations that want to make a difference in the areas they are passionate about.  Through providing bespoke services to our donors, we can ensure that their charitable giving is maximised throughout the county.bucks map - support donations

Make a difference where you live!

Buckinghamshire has over 3000 local charities. The role of the Government in providing community services is reducing so these groups increasingly depend on donations from local people like you.

Seeing is Believing

As a local donor we’ll invite you to events to meet the community groups and projects that you’ve helped us to support. You’ll be able to meet other like-minded donors and learn more about local needs.

Tax advantages

If you are a higher rate taxpayer, there are tax benefits to giving. At the end of each tax year we can give you written proof of how much you’ve donated with us to help you reduce your tax bill.

We’ll support you all the way

We are able to offer a tailored service that connects you to the causes you care about. There are several ways in which you can give; whether it is setting up a named fund or contributing to existing funds.

We’re here to support you through these decisions, making your giving as effective as possible. Because of our local expertise, we can often find local grassroots projects, operating below the radar, where a modest sum of money can make a huge difference. Of course, you may also have your own ideas about where you’d like to give which we can happily accommodate.

Our main aim is to help you to be inspired about your giving and to feel that it’s based on an informed understanding of local needs.  The Seeing is Believing trips enable you to see first-hand the impact of your giving. Many of our donors say that the more they get involved, the more they want to give!
