YouthBank is a unique way of involving young people in community activity. The Bucks CC Youth Service use their contacts with local young people from a wide range of backgrounds and give them the opportunity to be part of a panel. Their role is to help award funding to other young people in their community, based on the strength of their application and the benefits it will bring to their local community. Having a young person’s voice on the panel is really empowering and also gives them the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills in the process.
